President Pranab Mukherjee wishes people on the occasion of National Day of Mauritania

New Delhi, Nov 28 (IBNS) President Pranab Mukherjee on Monday extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the occasion of their National Day.

In a message to Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mukherjee said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, to the Government and to the people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day."

"I am confident that our close ties will be further strengthened in the coming years to the mutual benefit of the peoples of our two countries," he said.

The Indian President said: "Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.”
