President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Oman

New Delhi, Nov 17 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Sultan and people of the Sultanate of Oman on the eve of their National Day (November 18, 2016).

In a message to Sultan of Oman, Qaboos Bin Said Al Said, the Indian President said “I am pleased to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and to the friendly people of the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of your National Day.

Our long-standing friendly relations are founded on the millennia-old cultural, religious and economic intercourse between our two regions, characterized by extensive people-to-people contacts and deep mutual respect.

I take this opportunity to convey to Your Majesty my best wishes for your personal good health and well-being, and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Sultanate of Oman."
