PM Modi underscores the importance of growing India-US linkages in meeting with Texas Governor

New Delhi, Mar 29 (IBNS): Noting the strong growth in India-US strategic partnership, Prime Minister Narednra Modi underscored the importance of growing linkages with Texas in the fields of trade and commerce, energy, industry, education and people-to-people contact.

PM Modi noted the above while talking to Greg Abbott, Governor of the State of Texas, who is currently on a trade mission to India and had called on the PM  on Wednesday.

The two dignitaries agreed to further strengthening the ties.

Governor Abbott expressed appreciation for the contribution of people of Indian origin living in Texas to his state and to the US.
