New Delhi, Nov 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Nranedra Modi reportedly told his new council of 21 ministers who took oath on Sunday to be prepared to work even on public holidays.

The PM also told them to avoid going on leave when Parliament is in session as he reportedly wants his ministers to cut down on unnecessary tours and ensure maximum presence in the Houses.

He also advised them to come prepared with proper answers for questions posed to them during Question Hour, reports said.

PM Modi spoke to all his ministers for 20 minutes. During the meeting, he reportedly asked his ministers to be ready with bills pending in both Houses of Parliament along with new legislative proposals.

Reports said he also asked all cabinet ministers to take their junior ministers into confidence.
