New Delhi, Jan 16 (IBNS): Launching the Startup India movement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the day marks a change in the mindset of India.

"Today marks an important change in the mindsets of India," Modi said.

"Companies that were on top pre-1991 have been replaced by companies that were start ups, by those who didn't belong to business families," he said.

The launch event aimed at celebrating the entrepreneurship spirit of country’s youth, and will be attended by CEOs and founders of top Start-ups from across the country and abroad.

The event was telecast live in IITs, IIMs, NITs, IIITs and Central Universities and to youth groups in over 350 districts of India.
