PM Modi inaugurates Delhi Metro Magents Line, will address public rally in Noida

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Magenta Line of the New Delhi Metro railway on Monday, according to media reports.

He was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik, chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries at the inauguration while, media reported that Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, was not invited to the event.

Earlier, the PM was was received by UP Governor, Ram Naik, Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries on his arrival at Botanical Garden in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The Magenta line covers a 12.64-km stretch and links south Delhi's Kalkaji to Noida's Botanical Garden, in the national capital region.

The Prime Minister, who will travel to Okhla Bird Sanctuary station, is also scheduled to address a public rally in Noida, reports said.
