New Delhi, Feb 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s new headquarters in the national capital.

The new headquarters is situated in 6, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg.

Earlier the headquarters was in 11, Ashoka Road in the heart of Delhi for decades.

BJP veterans LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi along with several top party leaders and ministers were present at the inauguration event.

Addressing the audience, Modi said: "Is this the BJP office or my office? Every party worker should think this is my office... This office isn't for the party's roadmap, it is for realising the hopes and dreams of the party workers... the soul of this office is the party worker."

Modi was quoted by NDTV.

The PM even thanked BJP President Amit Shah for completing the new headquarters on time.
