Bengaluru, May 3 (IBNS): As Karnataka is heated up with poll campaigns, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has accessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's performance in the state by preparing a report card, in which the latter got grade F.

Rahul took to Twitter on Thursday to share a self-made assessment of Modi's performance.

Terming as report card, the Congress President has hit out at the PM for his poor performance in the agricultural sector.

He has also alleged the central government of not supporting the farmers in the southern state, which will go to polls in little more than a week's time.

Rahul's tweet reads, "Mr Modi’s Report Card State: Karnataka Sub: Agriculture 1. Contribution to Cong State Govts 8,500 Cr Farm Loan waiver = 0 Rs 2. PM’s crop insurance scheme: Farmers suffer; pvt insurance companies make huge profits. 3. No MSP+50%, for Karnataka farmers. Grade = F"

Both Rahul and Modi are campaigning hard in Karnataka.

The poll is scheduled to be held on May 12. The poll results will be out three days later on May 15.

Karnataka is one of the last few states which are ruled by the Congress.

BJP, under the leadership of former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, is eyeing on to return to power.
