PM Modi dedicates water supply scheme to nation in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Jun 30 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the water supply schemes based on Vatrak, Mazum and Meswo dams, at Modasa, in Gujarat, on Friday.

The PM arrived in Gujarat on Thursday for a two-day visit.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony, the PM said, "We have ensured that farmers across Gujarat get water through our various irrigation schemes."

He also said, "We are ensuring that bus stations in Gujarat are comparable to airports in convenience and cleanliness."

Talking about the welfare of farmers, the PM said, "e-NAM is helping farmers sell their produce online at the right price across the entire country. We have introduced PM Fasal Bima Yojana to ensure maximum protection with minimum premium."

The PM was handed over a Certificate of Guiness World Records for the largest Envelop Mosaic at Modasa, according to media reports.
