PM Modi condoles Arunachal Pradesh Minister Jomde Kena's death

New Delhi, Sept 5 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday mourned the death of Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Jomde Kena.

Mourning the death of the leader, PMO India tweeted: "PM expressed grief on the demise of Arunachal Pradesh's Health Minister, Shri Jomde Kena & extended condolences to his family & supporters."

After prolonged illness, the Arunachal Pradesh leader passed away  at a private hospital in Guwahati, reports said.

He was 52.

He was elected to the legislative assembly from the Likabali constituency in 2014.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu tweeted: "My deepest condolence on sad demise of Health Minister Jomde Kena ji. May god give strength to bereaved family to bear the loss. RIP."
