PM Modi celebrates Raksha Bandhan with young girls

New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday celebrated Rakshabandhan with young girls at his residence.

This was a special Raksha Bandhan celebration as the daughters of staff working at the PMO, including sweepers, peons, gardeners, drivers brought beautiful rakhis to celebrate with the prime minister, official sources said.

In a video of the event, the girls were seen tying rakhis on Modi's wrist. The Prime Minister also showered blessings on the little girls.

Extending greetings to the people of the country on the occasion, the Prime Minister tweeted: "Greetings to everyone on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan."
