Dubai, Feb 11 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting United Arab Emirates, on Sunday addressed the Indian diaspora in the Dubai Opera House where he made a pitch about the partnership between the two countries and hailed his government's key moves like the demonetization and implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Speaking to the Indian community amid 'Modi...Modi' chants, the Indian Prime Minister said, "After many years, India’s relations with other countries have become so vibrant and vast."

PM Modi assured the NRIs of converting their dreams into reality.

"I assure you that we will work together to bring to reality the dreams you see, here and in India," said he.

Hailing about his government's initiatives in India, Modi said: "Even the poor people agree with the fact that demonetization was a right move...GST has also been realized after 7 years."

He said India's leap in World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Rankings from 142 to 100 is "unprecedented."

"But we are not satisfied at this, we want to do better. We will do whatever it takes to make it possible," claimed the Indian Prime Minister.

The PM also unveiled the model of the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi after laying the foundation stone of the same via video conferencing and thanked the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi for "gracious donation of the land."

"The temple will be a testimony to UAE's commitment to tolerance and harmony," said the Indian PM.

"The temple will incorporate all aspects and features of a traditional Hindu temple as part of a fully functional, social, cultural and spiritual complex," he said.

Visit to UAE is the second leg of Modi's three-nation tour.

Earlier, he held talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
