Petrol bomb hurled on J & K Minister Naeem Akhtar's hoiuse, no casualty

Srinagar, Aug 2 (IBNS) : Unidentified persons hurled a petrol bomb at the house of Jammu and Kashmir education minister Naeem Akhtar Srinagar on Monday night, The Times of India quoted police as saying on Tuesday.

No one was hurt in the attack that was carried out by unidentified persons. Akhtar and his wife were not present in the house in the city's Parraypora area as they have shifted to high security Gupkar Road.

The report said a petrol bomb was also hurled at the office of Road and Buildings department at SDA colony in Bemina area of the city on Monday night. According to officials, no one was hurt in the incident.

Naeem Akhtar had a narrow escape on Saturday when his cavalcade was attacked with stones in a north Kashmir village when he was returning from Bandipore district.
