Opposition disrupts Telangana Assembly on SC categorisation issue, three suspended later revoked

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (IBNS): Telangana Assembly speaker Madhusudhana Chary suspended three opposition members from the House on Tuesday but it was later revoked, according to media reports.

The Opposition was asking for a debate on the Supreme Court categorisation issue while the ruling party pointed out that the Question Hour was supposed to be taken up first, media reported.

But as the Opposition members continued to stage their demand, the speaker suspended three members belonging to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Congress.

A Revanth Reddy and S Venkata Veeraiah (of TDP) and Sampath Kumar (of Congress) were suspended from the House for the remainder of the ongoing winter session.

However, the Speaker agreed to revoke the suspension following appeals from the Opposition leaders, media reported.
