Narendra Modi meets Swiss President to strengthen bilateral ties
Geneva, June 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann in Geneva on Monday today to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the key European nation.
"The meetings in Switzerland begin...President Schneider-Ammann and PM @narendramodi hold talks in Geneva," a PMO India tweet says.
PM Modi arrived in Geneva early morning from Doha, the capital of Qatar, on the third leg of his five-nation tour.
The two leaders thereafter led delegation-level talks. "A closer engagement with the heart of Europe. President and PM lead delegation level talks #IndiaSwitzerland," another tweet said..
At the meeting, Modi said that India too needs to have manufacturing of global standards and hence Swiss model of skill development very relevant for the country.
