Narendra Modi congratulates Ireland's new PM
New Delhi, June 17 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken Ireland's new PM Leo Varadkar and congratulated him over his new responsibility.
Modi said he is looking forward to build further stronger ties between the two nation.
"Spoke to Ireland's new Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on phone to congratulate him and reaffirm our commitment for stronger India-Ireland ties," Modi tweeted.
Leo Varadkar is the first Prime Minister of the country with an Indian heritage.
