Myanmar Consul General dies in road mishap in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Oct 27 (IBNS) : Myanmar Consul General Pyi Soe was killed in a road accident in Jharkhand’s Giridih district on Friday morning, reports said.

According to police, Soe along with his family was travelling to Kolkata when a speeding truck rammed into their vehicle  at the Nimighat.

Pyi Soe was appointed  Consul General in 2016.

Police said the truck driver reportedly lost control of the wheels

According to police, the eyewitness told them that truck was in a great speed.

“People who witnessed the incident said that the truck driver lost his controls over the wheels.

The diplomat died instantly.
