Mumbai, Jan 1 (IBNS) : The Mumbai police on Monday arrested two managers of a restaurant which caught fire in the devastating Kamala Mills blaze on Friday last resulting in the death of 14 people, reports said.

The two arrested managers of 1 Above restaurant are Kevin Bawa and Lisbon Lopez, who police said, did not discharge their duty.

The eatery was one of the three restaurants housed in the Kamala Mills complex, which gutted in the fire.

This is the first arrest in the Mumbai Kamala Mills fire case. However, a controversy still rages over  which restaurant was responsible for last week's fire.

The police have already  registered a case under charges of culpable Homicide not amounting to murder against the owners as well as the managers of  1 Above.

On Sunday, the owners of 1 Above, which has been named by Mumbai Police in its FIR, wrote to PM Narendra Modi alleging that Mojo's Bistro - another restaurant in Kamla Mills - was responsible for the fire and requested that the case be transferred to CBI.
