Modi hell-bent on destroying Delhi : Furious Kejriwal tweets after Lt.Governor transfer officials

New Delhi, Aug 30 (IBNS) : Launching an offensive against Narendra Modi over the Lieutenant Governor effecting transfer of some Delhi officials, ,Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday accused the Prime Minister of being "hell-bent on destroying Delhi."

"Modiji is hell bent on destroying Delhi thro LG," Kejriwal tweeted.

Today, several officers transferred by LG directly. Files not even shown to CM or any minister. Is this Modi model of democracy?," he said.

Kejriwal alleged that Najeeb Jubng, the Lt Governor, ordered the transfers despite Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia beseeching him not  to remove officers involved in building mohalla (neighbourhood) clinics and schools.

Earlier this month, the Lieutenant Governor had instructed that all transfers or postings of officers should be placed before him.

The latest development gives a new momentum to the battle between Kejriwal-led ruling Aam Aadmi Party and the Centre over the question of primacy in Delhi, which has an elected Government, but doesn't have the full statehood.
