New Delhi, July 27 (IBNS): The Lok Sabha on Monday witnessed a ruckus with Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury banging a placard on the Speaker's table, forcing Sumitra Mahajan to adjourn the House for an hour.

The incident occurred in the House when a discussion was being held on the Delhi High Court (Amendment) Bill, 2015, reports said.

The Congress members were seen shouting slogans as they demanded Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's resignations.

Following the incident, Chowdhury has been reportedly  suspended for a day.

Chowdhury has reportedly apologised for his behaviour in the House.
