Kejriwal holds 'Talk to AK' session, calls the interaction a reflection of his honesty
New Delhi, July 17 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is holding an interactive session with people on Sunday where he said the interaction is a 'reflection of our honesty.'
"We have always said that there is no dearth of money in politics, there is a dearth of intent. Our last 1.5 years have proven this right," he said.
Kejriwal claimed that, "We are saving money in every initiatives we are taking."
"We have constructed a Rs.3000 crore flyover in just Rs.200 crore," said he.
Kejriwal said his government has reduced tax on several commodities to develop Delhi.
Speaking about schools in the country, he said the state of schooling in India is very sad.
"Recently we saw a scam involving toppers. How children are being made to buy degrees," said he.
"When we took over Delhi, we came with the idea that putting money on education was an investment. Our first cabinet meet decided that education was most critical," the Delhi CM claimed.
He said, "We have set up toilets and drinking water facilities in Delhi schools."
Stating that there weren't enough class rooms for students in Delhi schools, Kejriwal said: "8,000 new classrooms have been made in Delhi that's close to 200 new schools."
Kejriwal said: "I am fighting for the people, not just for myself."
The session will also provide opportunities to the citizens for asking their questions.
