Karunanidhi defamation case hearing adjourned to March
Chennai, Jan 18 (IBNS): A Sessions Court in Chennai on Monday adjourned hearing in the defamation case against DMK president M. Karunanidhi till March 10 after noting the appearance of the 92-year old leader.
The police had a tough time controlling the crowd who had gathered at the place when the former Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK president arrived at the court.
Karunanidhi was accompanied by party treasurer M.K. Stalin, MP Kanimozhi, Durai Murugan, Dayanidhi Maran, T.R. Balu and other leaders.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has moved a defamation case against Karunanidhi and and Murasoli Editor Selvam.
