Srinagar, Mar 12 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has decided to remove state  Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu from  her Council of Ministers after his remark on Jammu and Kashmir triggered a controversy.

According to reports, Mufti has sent a letter to the Governor of the state N.N. Vohra over the issue.

PDP leader Drabu recently triggered a controversy by saying that issue of Jammu and Kashmir was not a political problem or it was a conflict state.

He said it was a social issue.

PDP sources told IBNS that an order, which reads that Drabu was suspended from the Council of Ministers after he made a statement on Kashmir, has been issued.
