ISRO launches home-made communications satellites GSAT-6A today

Sri Harikota, Mar 29 (IBNS): The ISRO has launched its home-made communications satellites GSAT-6A in Sri Harikota on Thursday, media reports said.

The GSLV has been called as "Naughty Boy" as most of its earlier launches were unsuccessful.

The two rockets in the tandem will provide a two-way signals which can reach the remotest parts.

Around 400 scientists and engineers were called to help with the launch, NDTV reported.

GSAT-6A is a twin of GSAT-6 which was launched in 2015.
