Shimla, Aug 5 (IBNS): Continuous rainfall has affected normal life in Himachal Pradesh, according to media reports on Saturday.

Traffic along the national highway connecting Shimla with Kalka has virtually come to a standstill with landslides blocking the way in several places, local reports said.

The state has been experiencing heavy rain for the past few days and seen significant damage to property.

Three tractors were swept off in the flooding on Thursday. On Friday, according to media reports, four people were killed and five injured when an old building collapsed in Theog, 30km from Shimla.
