Govt rescues captive Indians from Libya, confirms Swaraj

New Delhi, Sept 15 (IBNS): Two Indians held captive in Libya have been rescued by the government, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Thursday

The rescued men have been identified as T Gopalakrishna (AP) and C Balaram Kishan (Telangana), Swaraj said.

She took to Twitter to break the news.

"I am happy to inform that T Gopalakrishna (AP) & C BalaramKishan (Telangana) who were captive in Libya since 29 July 2015 have been rescued," her tweet read.
