Goa: Jet Airways flight skids off runway

Panaji, Dec 27 (IBNS): A Jet Airways flight, carrying 154 passengers and 7 crew members, skidded off the runway at Dabolim airport in Goa on Tuesday.


The flight was heading from Goa to Mumbai.

"The flight 9W 2374 from Goa-Mumbai skidded off the runway at Dabolim airport this monring due to a technical glitch while aligning for takeoff," Jet Airways said in a statement.

The company said 12 passengers were injured during evacuation.

"12 of our guests who sustained minor injuries during the evacuation process , are receiving required medical attention," Jet Airways said.
