New Delhi, Aug 23 (IBNS): Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra on Sunday said he was glad that his name has been removed from the 'no-frisking' list at airports by the government.
"Finally!! I am glad and have been awaiting this so called and never used, Security Exemption Privilege to be removed at Airports," Varda said in a statement.

He said: "I am and have been more than ready to give a written consent to remove my name from this VVIP list."

Vadra said he was no "VIP."

"I am no VIP and I have expressed my view on this subject in the past as well. Please stop wasting peoples time with this news, every few days! Cheers," Vadra's statement said.

Vadra had earlier said he travels like any ordinary passenger.

Robert Vadra's name has been raised time and again by critics to point out that he does not have VIP security and so, should be treated like a common man at airports.
