Four people of a family commit suicide at a hotel in Guwahati

Guwahati, Sep 21 (IBNS): Four people of a family committed suicide in a hotel in Guwahati and their bodies were recovered on Wednesday, police said.

The family belonged to the Burhadolong village near Siphajhar in Darrang district had taken a room at Hotel LA Sun City in the capital city of Assam on Tuesday evening and their bodies found inside the hotel room on Wednesday morning.

Police said that four bodies including a minor and two women were found inside the hotel room.

"During the initial probe, we confirmed that the family members of Prasanta Kumar had committed suicide," a police official said.
