Election Commission to announce Gujarat poll dates today
The EC has withheld so far the announcement inviting criticisms from principal opposition party, the Congress.
The poll is expected to be concluded by December.
The Congress has accused the BJP of pressuring the Election Commission to delay the announcement of the poll dates in the states to facilitate Modi to offer some benefits to the people just few days before the election.
The BJP is in power in Gujarat since 1995.
