New Delhi, Dec 7 (IBNS): The dense fog enshrouding the national capital has forced the cancellation of at least three trains and arrested momentum of 81 others, media reports said.

At least 12 other trains were also rescheduled, a railway officer told the media.

Traffic on highways have slowed down too as visibility was recorded at 100 meters near Safdarjung around 5:30 am, the MeT officials said.

Some of the trains running late are  Himgiri Express (26 hours), Amarnath Express (20 hours), Purbia Express (18 hours) and Kaifiyat Express (19 hours).
