Delhi CM and others of AAP apologize to Arun Jaitley over DDCA allegations

New Delhi, Apr 2 (IBNS): Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh and Raghav Chadha apologised to Union Finance Minister  Arun Jaitley in the defamation case, media reported on Monday.

They sent a joint letter of apology to Arun Jaitley, reports said.

Arun Jaitley had filed a a Rs 10-crore defamation case against Kejriwal and others when the latter alleged financial irregularities had taken place when Jaitley was the president of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), according to media reports.

According to reports, the defamation case is not being withdrawn by Jaitley but an application for a decree based on the AAP apology may be filed.
