Bengaluru, May 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again attacked the Congress for its alleged involvement in corruption while addressing a rally in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Modi, who is presently in poll bound Karnataka, said: "Congress is a gold medalist in corruption."

The PM has said the "enthusiasm" of the people of Karnataka clearly state the ruling Congress will be ousted from power.

Comparing the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP's) rule with that of the Congress, Modi said: "We are working towards promoting 'Ease of Doing Business', Congress is ensuring 'Ease of Doing Murder'."

He also took on H. D. Deve Gowda's Janata Dal (Secular) in his third rally of the day. He said: "You ask any political pundit. Everyone is of the opinion that JD(S) will finish at number 3. A sensible voter would never vote for them."

Both Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Modi are campaigning hard in Karnataka.

The poll is scheduled to be held on May 12. The poll results will be out three days later on May 15.

Karnataka is one of the last few states which are ruled by the Congress.

BJP, under the leadership of former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, is eyeing on to return to power.
