Cease fire violation y Pakistan along LoC leaves one Indian Army porter dead

Srinagar, Apr 16 (IBNS): An Indian army porter was killed after Pakistan army resorted to firing along the Line of Control in Uri Sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the Indian Army said on Monday.

A Defense spokesperson who identified the slain porter as Khursheed Ahmed (37) of Nawa Runda said that the porter died on the spot after receiving a bullet in the neck.

The spokesperson said that the slain porter was associated with 4 Army Madras Unit.

A police official from Uroosa police post, while confirming the death of the porter said that they handed over the body to the family after completing all the legal formalities.
