CBSE declares class XII results

New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class XII results were declared on Monday with M Gayatri of Delhi emerging as the top scorer in the examination.

M Gayatri, who is a student of New Green Field School in Saket, top scored with 99.2 percent.

Maithli Mishra of Amity International, Noida, stood second as she scored 495 out of 500.

With a pass percentage of 87.56 percent, the girls performed better than boys (77.77 per cent).

The results are available on websites www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in, CBSE earlier informed.

Students will also be able to know their results through an Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) by dialing 24300699 (Delhi), 011-24300699 (other parts of the country).

A total of 10,28,928 candidates had registered for class XII examination.

Class X results will also be declared on May 27.
