BSF Head constable killed in Pak firing in Rajouri

Srinagar, Nov 21 (IBNS) : A BSF head constable was killed on Monday morning after Pakistani troops resorted to heavy cross-border firing in yet another ceasefire violation in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

The Pakistani army started firing mortar shells on Sunday night targeting  forward Indian positions and civilian areas along the Line of Control in Rajouri and Poonch districts.

Five BSF personnel were injured in the shelling.

One of them, Head Constable Raj Singh succumbed to his injuries.

The BSF jawan hailed from Haryana.

This was the fourth ceasefire violation by Pakistan  since Saturday.
