Arun Jaitley takes oath Rajya Sabha MP

New Delhi, Apr 15 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday took oath as the Rajya Sabha MP for another term.

He will be representing the Parliament from Uttar Pradesh.

"Took oath of office as Rajya Sabha Member representing Uttar Pradesh, April 15, 2018," Jaitley tweeted.



He was unable to take oath due to illness.

He was elected to the Rajya Sabha from UP.

He was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Cardio-Neuro Tower recently.

Jaitley on Apr 5 said he is being treated for kidney related problems.

In a tweet, Jaitley wrote: "I am being treated for kidney related problems & certain infections that I have contracted. I am therefore currently working from controlled environment at home. The future course of my treatment would be determined by the doctors treating me."
