New Delhi, Apr 2 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has accepted Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal's apology over the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) issue, media reports said.

Kejriwal had earlier alleged that Jaitley was involved in a corruption as the DDCA president.

Following the allegations, Jaitley had filed a Rs 10-crore defamation case against Kejriwal and several other AAP leaders.

On Monday. Kejriwal and AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh and Raghav Chadha apologised to the Union Finance Minister.

However, Jaitley earlier said an apology from Kejriwal won't suffice.

In a sorry spree, Kejriwal had recently apologised to a number of leaders for his comments on them.

He has apologised to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal and his son Amit and also ex-Punjab Minister Bikram Majithia.

In 2014, Kejriwal had called Gadkari as the most corrupt leader.

Kejriwal had alleged Majithia to have been involved in a drug trade in Punjab.
