ABVP wins three of the four top posts in DUSU elections
ABVP's Amit Tanwar, Priyanka Chabri and Ankit Sangwan were elected DUSU President, Vice President and Secretary respectively, while Mohit Sangwan of the NSUI (National Students' Union of India) won the Joint Secretary post.
The performance of the ABVP is, however, below par their feat in the last year's elections when they had won all the top four posts.
The students council elections also took place in 44 colleges of Delhi in which the National Students Union of India (NSUI), affiliated to the Congress, won the five-member panels in 33 colleges while the ABVP scored victory in 11 colleges.
The elections were held on Friday.
