10 injured in West Bengal bus accident

Kolkata/Burdwan, Dec 17 (IBNS): A government-run bus hit a roadside lamp post on Saturday early morning in West Bengal's Burdwan district, leaving 10 passengers injured.

According to reports, the Burdwan to Kolkata bound state bus lost its control, while overtaking another vehicle, near Shaktigarh area and smashed into a lamppost.

At least 10 passengers of the bus were seriously injured in the mishap and rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to hospital reports, two of them have been referred to Kolkata's SSKM hospital as their conditions were deteriorated.
