Mentos, Coca-Cola and a flying man: Bizarre AI video goes viral online
A bizarre video has gone viral on social media showing a man seemingly being launched high into the sky after dropping a crate full of Mentos candies into a large pool of Coca-Cola that had spilled onto a road from a broken-down truck.
The video begins with the man approaching the truck after the soft drink spills across the road. He is then seen collecting some of the Coca-Cola in a jar before apparently enjoying the drink.
The video takes an unexpected turn when the man approaches another truck carrying Mentos candies. He then drops a large quantity of the candies into the sea of Coca-Cola spread across the road.
Within moments, a huge burst of foam appears, seemingly propelling the man high into the sky in a bizarre and exaggerated sequence.
The unusual footage quickly sparked speculation online, with social media users claiming that the video was generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

The original video was reportedly shared on X by an account named TechHalla. According to reports circulating online, the still images were created using GPT Image 2.5, while Seedance 2.5 was used to animate the sequence.

The bizarre AI-generated footage left social media users amused and puzzled, with many commenting on the creativity behind the video.
