Vandita Kaul appointed as nominee director of Bank of India

Mumbai: Vandita Kaul, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services, Government of India has been appointed as nominee director of Bank of India by the Government of India.

The bank received the communication from the Finance Ministry about Kaul’s nomination. 

Vandita Kaul holds M.Sc degree in Zoology from the University of Delhi and a Diploma in Systems Management from NIIT. She has been appointed by Government of India as Government Nominee Director of the Bank, with immediate effect and until further orders.

Presently she has been posted as Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. 

She has more than 31 years of experience in the area of Finance, budgeting, IT Project Management, Operations and Customer Relations Management, Social assistance, Development of backward areas and border areas, Irrigation, Urban development, E-Governance, Administration, etc. 

She joined the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) in the year 1989 and has worked under various Departments of Ministries such as Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Home Affairs and Department of Posts.
