Pakistan: Bullet-ridden body of 'forcibly disappeared' person recovered from Balochistan

The bullet-ridden body of a man was recovered from Purana Parom Cross in Balochistan’s Panjgur region in Pakistan on Saturday, media reports said.

According to reports, he was forcibly disappeared from the area.

Officials told The Balochistan Post that the deceased person was identified as Asadullah.

He is the son of Haji Abdul Khaliq, a resident of Dhaz Parom who had recently been living in Chitkan.

Local sources told The Balochistan Post that Asadullah was forcibly disappeared from his home in Panjgur by Pakistani security forces on 9 September.

His whereabouts were not known until his body was recovered.
