Paris, May 18 (IBNS): The French authorities have foiled a new attack by two Egyptian nationals in their country this week, French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb informed on Friday.

Collomb said that the forces' operation was based on a home visit.

"An attack involving two nationals of Egyptian nationality was foiled this week in Paris.

Our services were based in particular on a home visit: A provision included in the #LoiAntiterrorisme adopted in the fall of 2017 by Parliament," Collomb tweeted.

According to reports, the two Egyptians were preparing to carry out an attack with either explosives or ricin.
