Bangladesh: Kamaruzzaman buried

Dhaka, Apr 12 (IBNS): War criminal Muhammad Kamaruzzaman, who was executed in Dhaka on Saturday, has been buried at his village home in Bangaldesh's Sherpur Sadar area on Sunday, media reports said.

"His body arrived at around 4:16am at Kumri Mudipara village in Sherpur, and was handed over to his elder brother Kafil Uddin.He was buried at around 5:20am after his Namaz-e-Janaza at the Kumri  Bajitkhila orphanage," Prothom Alo reported.

Bangladesh on Saturday executed  Kamaruzzaman inside Dhaka Central Jail.

On Apr 6, giving a jolt to Kamaruzzaman, country's Supreme Court scrapped his plea to review his death penalty.
