Amsterdam: Suspect shot after double stabbing in central station

Amsterdam, Aug 31 (IBNS): At least two people were wounded in a stabbing incident in Netherland's Amsterdam city on Friday, media reports said.

The suspected attacker was shot and wounded by police, reported BBC.

The motive behind the attack is still not clear.

Two victims and the attackers have been taken to hospital for treatment.

The attack took place in the central railway station in the city.

As per BBC report, some train services in and out of the station were suspended during the incident and two platforms closed.
