New Delhi, Sept 13 (IBNS): In his witty fashion, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag on Wednesday wished ex-Australian spinner Shane Warne on his birthday.

Warne turned 48.

Sharing an image, where Shane could be seen standing with a plastered hand, Sehwag wished him by saying: "Batsmen always wished ur hands were plastered like this while you were bowling,or atleast you warned them. Happy Birthday legend @ShaneWarne."

Shane is one of the best spinners produced by Australia so far.

In his career, Warne had scalped 708 wickets in Test wicket.

Sri Lankan spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan is just above Warne in the list of top wicket takers in Tests.

He is currently the second highest wicket taker in Test cricket.
