Johannesburg/IBNS: Tilak Verma's second consecutive century and a hundred by experienced Sanju Samson followed by a fitting bowling performance led India to thrash South Africa by mammoth 135 runs in the fourth and final T20I match, sealing a 3-1 series victory in Johannesburg.

Winning the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav sent his batters out in the middle, hoping for a repeat of their last match performance with the willow.

After Abhishek Sharma's 36-run knock with 200 strike rate was ceased by Lutho Sipamla in the sixth over, Tilak and Samson offered a nightmare to the hosts with their aggressive tons.

Tilak remained unbeaten at 120 off just 47 balls courtesy nine fours and 10 sixes, Samson took 56 balls to slam unbeaten 109 comprising six fours and nine sixes to help India post a colossal total of 283/1 in 20 overs.

In reply, South Africa's runchase never took off facing formidable Indian bowlers, led by Arshdeep Singh, who picked three wickets upfront to diminish the Proteas to 10/4 in three overs.

After Indian spinners Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi removed David Miller and Tristan Stubbs for 36 and 43 in consecutive overs, South Africa's feeble battle collapsed to 148 allout in 18.2 overs.

India sealed the four-match series 3-1.
