Swapnil Kusale makes strong Olympics debut, reaches 50m Rifle 3 Positions Final after finishing seventh

Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale has made a remarkable Paris Olympics debut by finishing 7th in the men’s 50m 3-Position shooting event on Wednesday.

His strong show with the gun not only ensured qualification for the final but also made him a strong contender to win a medal.

His final show for a medal is scheduled to take place on August 1.

In another event,  senior shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar narrowly missed out on the final, ending up 11th with a score of 589-33x.
