Sachin Tendulkar poses for an 'impromptu' picture with Sunny Pawar at the Asian Awards

Mumbai, May 6 (IBNS): Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar recently posed for an 'impromptu' picture with young actor Sunny Pawar at the Asian Awards.

The Little Master also took to Twitter to praise young Pawar.

"Impromptu picture with the young & talented #SunnyPawar.... You've won our hearts, Sunny! @TheAsianAwards #TheAsianAwards."

Tendulkar, who has served Indian cricket for over 24 years before retiring a few years ago, received the Fellowship Award at the programme.

"World-famous Cricketer & Icon, Sachin Tendulkar @sachin_rt, has been honoured with prestigious Fellowship Award at tonights #TheAsianAwards," a tweet from the official Twitter handle of the Asian Awards read.

Sunny, who made his debut opposite Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel in the 2016 critically acclaimed Lion, received the Rising Star of the Year award.

"He's stealing the show tonight! #SunnyPawar our Rising Star of the Year hits the red carpet with his father #TheAsianAwards ," another tweet from the committee added.
